About Me
I am Coach Gladys,
I struggled with low self-esteem for years. Not only that, but I felt sad all the time. I tried whatever I thought would make me a good wife, mother, and career woman. Likewise, I only became bitter over time.
I suffered chronic pain. I spent heavily on medical services.
Then, I was diagnosed with ulcers for the umpteenth time. I was in denial. I still remember the sympathetic look on the doctor's face when he said, "If this is not treated now, it could develop into cancer". With eyes wide open, I submitted to the suggested treatment. I realized I was disconnected from myself and others.
"This cannot go on one more day". I told myself as I walked to the pharmacy, hands hanging by my sides. So I resigned from my unfulfilling job. I set boundaries with my partner and children. At last, my physical health was sorted. I was still empty inside…
I jumped onto Google in search of my voice. Furthermore, I read every self-help book I could lay my hands on. I attended every master class I came across. I completed an advanced psychology degree. I felt accomplished for a while. Likewise, I still longed to connect. Not only that, but I wanted to belong, to be loved, and to love unconditionally.
Then, a friend introduced me to Trauma Healing. Trauma Healing helped me learn how to forgive and ask for forgiveness. I am inspired to help those who are where I was then, suffering chronic pain. I finally found my purpose and my passion.
Today, I am The Glad Coach. I am still learning as I help others. I am now in healthy relationships with myself and others.
